HAPPY BACKBENDS

This session will start with the most basic backbend asana and teach you the appropriate tools to help you complete your backbend practice, step by step, without pain.

We will focus on developing and increasing flexibility to the chest and shoulders, flexibility of the hips and legs, and stabilizing and building the muscles of the lower back.

Benefits of backbends:
Backbends help bring your body back into balance.  Backbends strengthen your back, shoulders, chest, and hips. They lengthen your spine, increase flexibility, and improve mobility, which helps promote good posture. Plus, they help relieve tension, tightness, and pain.
