This retreat is for anyone seeking practises and a peaceful environment to disconnect from the busy daily life and reconnect with their inner selves and learn ancient and new healing techniques. It’s designed to guide you into relaxing states so you can experience inner silence and well-being.

What we will be doing and learning in this retreat?

  • Gentle to moderate yoga classes suitable to all levels;
  • Guided meditations;
  • Qigong; an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention. The gentle, rhythmic movements of Qigong reduce stress, build stamina, increase vitality, and enhance the immune system. It has also been found to improve cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic and digestive functions.
  • Pranayama (yogic breathing exercises) and Diaphragmatic Breathing ,
  • Having plenty of free time for reflection, to explore the island or just lay back and read a good book.

I have beautiful, vivid memories of my classes led by Antonella. She guided us through the practice with her calming voice. Sometimes it turned out to be more challenging but Antonella was motivating to take the extra step. Sometimes classes were more relaxing and Antonella was there to support you and letting yourself allow to fall, pampering you with metaphorical and visual language. Classes had an engaging musical background and all senses were appealed over the course of the time. If you have an injuries or some physical limitations that makes an asana difficult, Antonella is always able to find an alternative for you. There is no shavasana like the ones Antonella gently guides you into and out of.
