Island Yoga curates world-class yoga workshops, sound baths, and private treatments to take your yoga retreat experience to the next level in beautiful Koh Yao Noi. Island Yoga is proud to host Thailand’s largest gong collection. Our sound baths, shamanic sound therapy, and vocal toning sessions are world-renowned deep healing modalities. An Island Yoga Retreat experience is incomplete without a relaxing sound bath experience.

Our workshops also delve into holistic practices complementary to yoga such as Tai Chi, women’s health, Ayurveda, yoga nidras, and Ajna Light therapies.

Private Thai Massage

Enjoy a private Thai massage with our on-site masseuse. Thai massage is an ancient form of passive stretching and pressure point release developed by Buddhist monks 2,500 years ago. Thai massage works with compression – pressure movements along the length of the muscle tissue by the hand, fingers, or elbows. Let your body and mind relax as your therapist moves you into various positions and releases the various pressure points in your body.

A Sacred Sound Journey to shift your consciousness, remove toxic emotions, calm the mind, and drop you into a deeply relaxed meditative state. Sound baths are known to help people overcome pent-up emotions, release tensions, still the body, and silence the mind.

Healing Mantras, Sound, & Yoga Nidra

Sound and Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) influences the subconscious layers of our body, where the roots of suppressed emotions, tension, pain, anxiety, depression, and traumas are formed. Both practices have the power to balance and heal our mind and body. When you open your voice, you touch your inner self for a deep state of meditation and a profound sense of joy and wellbeing.

Welcome the full moon with an ocean of harmonious sounds. Let go of anything that may no longer serve you with a shamanic fire blessing that aids inner purification and regeneration.

The Healing Power of Yoga

This multidimensional workshop will guide you through the 5 Tibetan rites, OM frequency and Calligraphy Yoga leading to longetivity, happiness, calm and deep peace. The practice restores natural balance, strengthens psychological resilience, and cultivates internal energetic reserves.

Ayurvedic Head Massage

Ayurvedic Indian head massage is considered to be one of the most effective and relaxing massage techniques available. In the workshop, you will learn how to give an Ayurvedic head massage and receive one yourself. You’ll focus on the neck, head, and shoulders to relax the entire upper body.

Rest & Digest

Restorative yoga can heal physical and mental symptoms caused by everyday stresses and fast-paced lifestyles. The sequence is designed to heal the spine while fully supported with blocks, bolsters, and straps. A short nidra session after promotes a more profound sense of stillness and relaxation.

Mantra Chanting Workshop

Mantra chanting opens us up to higher levels and has the power to ground and center our lives. The mantras you will chant are in Sanskrit – an ancient Indian language used for yoga, meditation, and scriptures.

Vocal Toning & Chakra Healing

Learn sacred vowel sounds to resonate your energy centers or your chakras. The human voice is thought to be the most effective healing instrument. You’ll understand how to use your voice to resonate with different chakras to bring them to balance for healing and enhancement.

Integrative Vibrational Therapy with Dimitri Miteff

Integrative Vibrational Therapy sessions are a personalized combo of sound therapy, sound baths, craniosacral therapy, reiki, yoga therapy, pranic healing (crystals), and breath work, the primary healing modality is vibration. Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, and drums are placed on or around the student’s body to release blocked energy, compressed emotions, and negative patterns.

Tibetan Sound Therapy with Roni Miteff

Tibetan singing bowls are placed on and around the body while played to release held emotions, toxins, negative patterns, and induce a deep meditative state. They bring you effortlessly into deep relaxation for self-healing and inner transformation.

Ajna & Pyra Light Therapy with Roni Miteff

Anja light and Pyra light are innovative and groundbreaking technologies to quickly explore your consciousness, experience deep relaxation, and heal multi-layers of your being.
